On My Mind....Spring is coming
A few things that have happened in the last week or so to let me know that Spring is nearly here. Lucy Goose's first eggs, the Jonquils in flower, blossoms on the peach tree (and a bee!) and mother hen with her baker's dozen of chicks.
Happy Spring to those south of the equator :D.
Cheers,
Robyn
Just perfect! All those lovely things heralding Spring. I always like how the Jonquils start to pop up in the cool weather - gives us such a pretty advance notice.
ReplyDeleteLucy Goose picked a lovely spot for her eggs!
The blossoms are gorgeous, and don't the bees love them.
Those chicks are sweet.
A delightful post Robyn :D)
Aww! Love the mama hen and her chickies!!
ReplyDeleteWe are approaching Autumn here in the US. Of course I live in New Mexico, so we kind of skip fall and spring and have a long hot summer and 4 months of cold without much in snow etc.
So happy Spring to you! And continued summer heat for me~ :)
Don't you just love this time of year? I do. How I envy you to have mother chicken and her chicks in your yard. I would so love to have them scratching around my garden.
ReplyDeleteTFS - popped over from Down To Earth.
This time of year is so lovely ... almost makes one burst into song! Love the wee chickens:) I didn't know geese made a nest in greenery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time of year. I'm on the side of the world that's just winding down now, and that's what was on my mind today.
